Fèis an Tairbeirt was established in 2016 by a group of volunteers who are keen to ensure that people of all ages in Mid-Argyll and Kintyre are offered the chance to learn to play an instrument and experience the joy of playing music together with others.

Fèis in Scottish Gaelic means “festival” or “feast.” It has come to mean a tuition festival, usually for children and young people, which celebrates the music and song culture connected with the Gaelic language.
